Heating pools and spas can be costly and energy intensive—but innovative technologies are helping change that.

In this recorded roundtable hosted by New Buildings Institute in partnership with the California Energy Design Assistance (CEDA) program, experts explore how air-source heat pumps designed for pools can deliver major energy and cost savings.

With more than 1.3 million residential swimming pools in California alone, the opportunity for energy savings and emissions reductions is significant. Paired with pool covers, heat pumps can make year-round pool heating more affordable and sustainable for both residential and commercial applications.

This session covers the current landscape of pool-specific heat pumps, important considerations when selecting equipment, and real-world case studies of successful installations.
