Heat pump water heaters (HPWHs) are two to four times more efficient than standard residential water heating technology.
Join us as we bring together major manufacturers of ENERGY STAR certified heat pump water heaters to present a general overview of the technology, how it works, and how it can help decarbonize buildings. Each manufacturer showcased their latest products and answered questions from the audience. This roundtable was hosted by New Buildings Institute in partnership with the California Energy Design Assistance (CEDA) program. It was put on as part of 2023 Heat Pump Water Heater Day—an awareness campaign organized by the Advanced Water Heating Initiative (AWHI).
