Heat Pump Initiative

A streamlined pathway for high-efficiency heat pumps with a faster process to incentive reservation.

What is the Initiative?

CEDA developed the Heat Pump Initiative to accelerate building electrification through high-efficiency heat pump technologies, offering a streamlined pathway for faster incentive reservation.

With California’s goal of installing 6 million heat pumps by 2030, CEDA plays a key role in supporting electrification efforts across the state.
