Inside Elco Yards: A LEED Gold Campus Tour

Join the California Energy Design Assistance (CEDA) program and USGBC California for a behind-the-scenes tour of Elco Yards, IQHQ’s mixed-use campus in downtown Redwood City.

Explore how the project team integrated high-performance building systems and decarbonization strategies across the LEED Gold-certified campus. Attendees will learn about innovative technologies, including heat-recovery chillers and central heat pump water heating systems, and how energy modeling and technical analysis through CEDA helped the project team evaluate energy-saving opportunities.

The tour will offer developers, architects, engineers, building owners, and sustainability professionals an opportunity to experience high-performance design firsthand and hear how collaboration and early energy analysis can inform more efficient, lower-carbon buildings.
