SUMMARY:Inside Elco Yards: A LEED Gold Campus Tour
DESCRIPTION:Join the California Energy Design Assistance (CEDA) program and USGBC California for a behind-the-scenes tour of Elco Yards\, IQHQ’s mixed-use campus in downtown Redwood City. \nExplore how the project team integrated high-performance building systems and decarbonization strategies across the LEED Gold-certified campus. Attendees will learn about innovative technologies\, including heat-recovery chillers and central heat pump water heating systems\, and how energy modeling and technical analysis through CEDA helped the project team evaluate energy-saving opportunities. \nThe tour will offer developers\, architects\, engineers\, building owners\, and sustainability professionals an opportunity to experience high-performance design firsthand and hear how collaboration and early energy analysis can inform more efficient\, lower-carbon buildings. \n
